Elegant, refined, and always in vogue, green is one of the most popular and versatile colors in the world of interior design.

In recent years, a growing interest in deeper shades that evoke nature has given rise to sophisticated and distinctive environments.
Through a selection from the 1200 shades available in the Battilossi palette, we embark on a journey through the various collections of the Turin-based company and the various nuances of green, from warm khaki to modern olive, to create atmospheres that offer a sense of calm and serenity.

GE-TECHNIQUE - RULER Studio 1 - NIGHT LAWN

A fusion of ethereal geometry and technical expertise, the Ge-Technique collection explores the concept of mark and line in textile design, experimenting with different techniques to discover the multiple expressions of a pattern testing how each technique can influence not only its aesthetics, but also its tactile and volumetric perception. Gently fading geometric motifs, inspired by the works of conceptual artist Sol LeWitt, are blend with carefully chosen color palettes to enhance the ethereal and refined atmosphere of this collection, conveying a sense of lightness and geometrical beauty and ideal to add a distinctive touch in a modern space. The alternation of positive and negative and the interplay of lines in motion overlapping and then offsetting each other are the characteristic of the Ruler patterns presented in the Night Lawn colorway where a fluo green stands out from a black background. Hand-knotted in 100% Ghazni or Tibetan wool, these mix pile & soumak weaving techniques,
enhancing the manual skill and know-how of the factories in Pakistan and Nepal.

GE-TECHNIQUE – CELSIUS Studio 1 - NIGHT LAWN 

The Ge-Technique collection rugs are born from a creative process that leads to abstraction in a desire to explain and divulge ancient techniques, often known only by industry specialists.

The mesmerizing optical effect of the color scales characterizing Celsius pattern, is instead made possible by the unique expertise in dyeing of the factory in Nepal. The Celsius pattern is hand-woven in 100% Tibet wool where the unique expertise in dyeing of the factory in Nepal makes possible the mesmerizing optical effect of the color scale.

AVITA - STORM - CACTUS  

The desire behind Avita is to give a flatweave carpet, usually associated with Kilims and Dhurries, a more refined and sophisticated taste. To achieve this, we have experimented with different weaving techniques and embroidery (soumak), implementing a more pronounced and substantial flat surface.

The use of phenomenal shades with exceptional color variations, mixed weft wrapping techniques (soumak), and the finest handspun Ghazni wool give the rugs in the Avita collection a unique taste, offering an additional level of depth.

CALEIDO CONCEPT N.1 - FROST - EMERALD  

Caleido Concept No.1 represents the first step towards a style which is highly oriented to interior decoration professionals. Design loses its primary function towards an overall, cosy 'ensemble', composed by a random combination of dense repeated patterns, very difficult and innovative weaving techniques and a highly sophisticated colour palette. Battilossi goes against the flow of the market by creating a collection that embodies the anti-statement rug by excellence. The pattern is just an excuse to play with textures and colours, 27 combinations where all the elements talk to each other in a delicate dialogue within each individual rug and in combination one to another.

KALASH - VENTA - OLIVE OCHRE 

With a bold and sophisticated spirit, the Kalash collection takes inspiration from Verneh rugs, woven between the 19th and 20th centuries in the Soumak style, an ancient technique used to create a thick and durable textile surface. With this collection, Battilossi highlights the value of complexity, embellishing the base of each carpet with intricate embroideries that give three-dimensionality and dynamism to the dense decorative motifs derived from classical sources. The Venta design reveals its personality in the precise and rigorous geometries that, like windows (“venta” in Galician means window), is found on the surface, highlighting the precious details that only the embroidery technique can give.

LINEA - ALEA - OLIVE

Crafted by the skilled hands of artisans from Pakistan, it consists of rugs with a minimalist appearance, yet capable of imparting warmth and character to the environment. Fields of color, emphasized by loosely drawn lines, are the predominant feature that makes Linea recognizable at first glance. The coarse weave shows the quality of the wool, while a special dyeing process creates an intricate play of color variations that convey energy and vitality.

SERIES #1 - FLAME ON – GREEN

Produced in Nepal, Serie 1 draws inspiration from contrast. The geometric and linear design is achieved through the use of an innovative weaving technique and a carefully chosen mixture of materials. What enhances the collection is the unique interaction between the colors and the emotions evoked by touch: areas of silk alternate with parts in wool, in a play of textural contrasts that give a softer texture to the rugs in this collection. Each rug in Serie 1 is elegantly complemented by the plain and colored sari-silk, a fabric that seamlessly blends with the others, giving rise to an unexpected yet harmonious design
